It’s hard to put into words how great a day this was. To be sitting front row watching my Dad walk my sister down the isle was a pretty incredible moment! I thought I was immune to getting emotional at weddings given that I have been to a couple of hundred at this stage but this one got me pretty bad. Whatever about the church I almost flooded the Lady Gregory during the speeches! Luckily I kept my camera up to my face so I don’t think too many saw the tears!! Gotta keep the hard man image alive you know! 🙂

I am extremely proud to call Thomas an official brother in law! These two are such an amazing couple and are blessed with their incredible little son Ronan. The day went off without a hitch and I loved every minute. A beautiful ceremony in Rath Church, followed by the shoot at Mullaghmore Mountain in The Burren and then on to the super Lady Gregory Hotel in Gort.
I am sure a lot of you are wondering how I managed to have a good day if I was shooting as well as being the brides brother and that’s where a few Thank You’s have to come into this post.
Firstly, to my incredible girlfriend Laurie for shooting along side me on the day all while being introduced and meeting all the relatives! That can’t have been easy! To Luke Reidy for his help shooting on the day. Luke filled in all the blanks allowing Laurie & I to sit back and relax a bit which was a very strange feeling for us on a wedding day. 🙂
Donough Cronin for shooting video on the day, super excited to see his finished product and finally to The Patrick Roche Band for keeping the floor absolute rocking all night long! I have seen these guys work at weddings loads but I usually leave by 10pm or so.. To see the work and effort these guys put in all night long was incredible!!! These boys know how to play a wedding and keep the floor full!!
Laura & Thomas! You guys rock and I am super proud of you two! Congratulations! xx
