When a couple get in touch asking you to photograph their wedding its always a super proud and exciting moment. That initial email means a lot, it means they like your work are thinking of trusting you to capture their big day and thats a really nice complement.
Then as the conversation continues you find out that they run their own surf camp in Portugal, one of them is a former British Champion of Surfing and the wedding is going to take part on a hilltop manor overlooking one of the most beautiful parts of Portugal… you pause for about 0.0001 of a second and you reply and say.. Yes! Yes we will come to capture your wedding!
This is definitely one of those “let the images do the talking” weddings so thats exactly what we are going to do.
We loved this place so much we returned two weeks later to hand deliver their USB and also get a little bit of surfing done ourselves. Portugal, you never disappoint!
