What to say about Katie & Chris. This couple are two of the happiest souls we have had the pleasure of photographing. Not only did it rain on their wedding morning, it poured and being in the depths of February here in Ireland, it was bloody cold too! Not to worry, Katie & Chris smiled, laughed and cried happy tears the entire way through their day. Even during their first look it was sprinkling down cold rain but that didn’t make the tiniest difference to them two. As soon as they spun around to see each other for the first time it was as if all that disappeared. It was incredible to watch and photograph. Some of the shots of them laughing while being soaked with rain are some of our favourites.
In typical West Coast of Ireland fashion, it went from full rain storm to beautiful winter sunshine by the end of the day and we were able to stop just before reaching the pub for some dramatic seaside shots. It just shows, the stormy days are just as beautiful along the West Coast of Ireland.
